BPK Gives Notes to the Government, a Subtle Pressure Regarding the Danantara Financial Report?

The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) urged Danantara to immediately publish its financial report to ensure accountability and transparency following the revision of the State-Owned Enterprises Law (UU BUMN), which has impacted state financial governance.

BPK’s audit on the 2025 Central Government Financial Report (LKPP) include some notes, including:
Significant consequence from the establishment of the Law No. 1/20225 and the Law No. 16/2025, including the need to strengthen Danantara’s governance
Strengthening, developing, and utilizing the National Single Social and Economic Data (DTSEN) is necessary to improve the accuracy of various government programs
The government should manage the state budget with greater precision as spending needs increase which further limits the country’s fiscal space
