Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani announced that the construction of Free Nutritional Food (MBG) kitchens can now be financed through loans from state-owned banks (Himbara), making it easier for entrepreneurs to support government programs in the 3T frontier and outermost (3T) regions.

Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — Danantara Indonesia CEO Rosan Roeslani announced that the construction of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) or Free Nutritional Food (MBG) kitchen can be financed through credit from the state-owned lenders (Himbara).

Rosan stated that entrepreneurs interested in establishing MBG Kitchens to provide daily meals for school students and pregnant women can apply for credit from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk., PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk.

Rosan stated that this policy was implemented two weeks ago. Therefore, entrepreneurs building MBG Kitchens can apply for financing, having previously implemented a reimbursement system.

“From the start, our Himbara bank will provide funding for this MBG. From the beginning. What is our support? The agreement between BGN [National Nutrition Agency] and our partners in the regions. That’s sufficient for us, and we will provide funding throughout Indonesia, including through Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI, and Bank Syariah Indonesia,” he told participants of the 2025 Kadin National Leadership Meeting in Jakarta, Tuesday (December 2, 2025).

Rosan stated that the funding opportunity is primarily for the establishment of MBG kitchens in the outermost, frontier, and disadvantaged (3T) regions. He said this opportunity will make it easier for entrepreneurs to contribute positively to supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s priority program.

The former Kadin Chairman also admitted to having heard that the national business association has built 500 SPPGs.

“I call this an investment, but at the same time, it also offers many rewards and a steady income, because it can be calculated on a regular basis: how much the investment is, how much the monthly payment is, and it can grow. The more Kadin members participate, the better,” he explained.

Kadin Builds Food Service Providers (SPPGs)

Through a previous written press release, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) announced the construction of 500 SPPGs in various underserved (3T) regions as part of one of Kadin Indonesia’s Quick Wins programs, namely the Gotong Royong MBG (Gotong Royong) program.

This was conveyed by Taufan Eko Nugroho, Deputy Chairman for Organizational Affairs of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), while attending the Riau Province Kadin Provincial Leadership Meeting (Rapimprov) in Pekanbaru, Riau, on Wednesday (11/19/2025).

Taufan, who represented Kadin Indonesia Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie, emphasized that the construction of the SPPGs demonstrates Kadin members’ support for the government’s strategic program.

“We have implemented 500 SPPGs in underserved (3T) regions. This is concrete evidence of Kadin’s commitment to supporting the national strategic agenda and ensuring nutritional access for underserved communities,” Taufan said.
