The Head of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara), Rosan Roeslani, said several conglomerates, including Barito Group founder Prajogo Pangestu and the owner of the Djarum Group conglomerate, are interested in purchasing Patriot Bonds.

“They’re all participating,” Rosan said at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Thursday (September 4, 2025).

When asked by reporters about Prajogo Pangestu and the owner of the Djarum Group’s participation in the Patriot Bond, Rosan emphasized that both are interested. “Yes, they are interested,” Rosan said.

Danantara previously announced that it would launch a Patriot Bond. The funds raised will be allocated to several strategic projects, one of which is waste management.

The program, titled Patriot Bonds: A Love Letter for Indonesia’s Future, will involve dozens of Indonesian conglomerates. Danantara stated that this instrument will be issued through a private placement scheme worth tens of trillions of rupiah to leading businesspeople.

The funds raised will be directed to strategic sectors, ranging from energy transition, job creation to environmental protection. Danantara believes the program launched will become capital for achieving long-term prosperity.

“That’s why Danantara Indonesia launched Patriot Bonds, inviting our business leaders to pool resources for long-term, high-impact projects across various sectors,” Danantara wrote in an official statement quoted on Tuesday (August 26, 2025).
