Danantara Bond Demand Signals Rising Global Investor Confidence in Indonesia: Citi

Investor confidence in Indonesian financial assets is showing signs of strengthening, with strong demand for recent international bond offerings by state-backed institutions, including Danantara Investment Management, Citi CEO Batara Sianturi said.

Batara said the demand for Danantara’s debut global bond in June reached $4.4 billion out of the $1.5 billion issued. He added that investor demand has also been strong for state utility PLN’s $1.5 billion global bond in February.
