Saudi Arabia Invites Danantara to Invest in Madinah Airport

Danantara Indonesia has received an invitation to acquire an equity stake in Madinah Airport in Saudi Arabia, Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani said on Thursday (6/8).

Rosan did not disclose the size or potential value of the proposed investment.

Indonesia and Saudi Arabia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday (4/8) to promote bilateral economic relations and facilitate cross-border capital flows. The agreement was signed by Rosan Roeslani as Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and Saudi Arabian Minister of Investment Fahad bin Abduljalil Al-Saif.

Danantara Indonesia had spearheaded Indonesian investment in Saudi Arabia through the Hajj Village which now has entered the architectural selection and conceptual design stage.
